Galaxy BOM by Lilabelle Lane Creations

Join us for an EPP journey of the ‘Galaxy Quilt’ with designer Sharon Burgess of Lilabelle Lane Creations. The ‘Galaxy Quilt’ is a bold, English Paper Pieced Quilt that will take the maker on a fun journey into the wonderful world of fussy cutting. Yes, the ‘Galaxy Quilt’ is a Fussy Cut, English Paper Pieced, BOM! With that said, this quilt does not have to be fussy cut but the fabric requirements that have been set for this BOM will allow each maker to explore all the fussy cutting options available to them. The ‘Galaxy Quilt’ features 12 of the prints from Tula Pinks upcoming ‘Tiny Beasts’ range as well as the new Tiny Coordinates.

Each month has been set out so that ONE feature fabric from Tiny Beasts will be provided in either a FQ or Half Yard depending on the print. This fabric will form the fussy cut centers of the star blocks each month and will be teamed with 4 Tiny Coordinates prints and Linework’ prints.

Program Delivery

Each month you will be making: -Two (2) full star blocks and four (4) pieced hexagon blocks –OR- Two(2) full star blocks, One (1) half star block and four (4) pieced hexagon blocks.

Month One will include:

• A full colour A5 booklet containing all the cutting and piecing instructions for the blocks,
• Images of the digitally fussy cut blocks
• A ‘General Instructions for English Paper Piecing ’section
• The first installment of the EPP Papers and the 5 Acrylic Templates
• A slim line box that can be used for storing the pattern and papers for all the SAL packs

In addition:

• A BONUS Fussy Cutting Viewer.
• A GIFT Sewline glue pen from Petting Fabric

Month Two through to Eleven will include:

• A full coloured A5 double sided postcard showing the digitally fussy cut blocks
• EPP papers and fabrics for the monthly blocks
• Class from Sharon Burgess as inspiration for that month,
• Recap zoom class with Georgina Lewis
• A GIFT of Wonderfil thread from Petting Fabric

Month Twelve will include:

• Another full colour A5 booklet with the details of the final two blocks,
• Information on the filler pieces and placements
• The finishing instructions for the quilt and the final installment of the EPP Papers.
• A BONUS Quilt label to embroider and add to your finished quilt.

Costs:

$26.95 per month plus $5 domestic shipping.  The signup reservation fee covers the acrylics, pattern, and other SAL cost. This fee is non-refundable.  As of July, the Signup Reservation fee of $178.95 will include month 1, 2 and month 3 payments. The BOM series started in June however it’s an easy Sew Along and not too late to join!  Orders placed in July will be shipped at the beginning of August.
