On Thursday April 4, 2024 Petting Fabric will host VIP dinner and Trunk show, plus a weekend of fun. Come learn from quilting experts: Stacey Day, and Georgina Lewis. Thursday, April 4th through Sunday, April 7th. Come to one or all the events in this packed weekend!
Instructors
Stacey Day
Stacey Day is an award winning quilter, pattern writer, designer, and author of the book “Child’s Play Quilts”. Stacey designs and writes quilt patterns for FreeSpirit Fabrics, P&B Textiles, Timeless Treasures and Dear Stella. She has also appeared in publications such as AQ Magazine, American Patchwork and Quilting, and Modern Quilts Unlimited. When Stacey isn’t working her day job as an x-ray Technologist, she is teaching and presenting her works with shops and guilds across Canada. Her work has appeared in numerous quilt shows and traveling trunk shows across North America, and have won ribbons at AQS Lancaster, the Canadian National Juried Show, and the Hoffman Challenge. What is happening during the retreat weekend?
The retreat weekend begins Thursday April 4th through Sunday April 7th 7:00 pm. You can attend one or all of the events.
- Thursday Night VIP Dinner & Trunk show with our instructors
- Weekend Workshop ~ Instructor Stacey Day
- Sunday Workshop & open Sew Day ~ Instructor Georgina Lewis
- Custom Charcuterie Grazing Table Brunch on Friday through Sunday
- Chocolate S’mores charcuterie desert bar on Saturday Night
