About the Pieced 18” Tuffet Foundation Pattern:
This exclusive Fabric Foundation Pattern is a full-size panel image of cut lines and sewing lines printed on broadcloth, designed by Sharyn Cole. Included is one yard of pattern fabric already printed with the eight foundation patterns required to complete one tuffet. You cut out the individual foundation patterns, each providing a sewing guide for one of the eight foundation pieces required to make an 18” diameter tuffet.
The printed foundation makes the process of fitting your cover to the tuffet form a bit easier for the intermediate sewer than the fusible interfacing product because the foundation fabric has its full stretch. The fusible interfaced pattern is recommended for the beginner providing a firmer pattern piece.
The Fabric Foundation can be used to create:
18” diameter pieced, eight-panel tuffets
Single fabric, eight-panel tuffets
