Join us for an inspiring 10 month quilting adventure as we stitch Tara Faughnan’s breathtaking Roam quilt together! This medallion-style design grows outward month by month, offering a joyful exploration of color, movement, and contrast.
Each round draws inspiration from decorative ribbon work and introduces a fresh technique, making this Block of the Month both skill-building and creatively energizing. Newer quilters will gain confidence, and experienced quilters will enjoy a year of thoughtful design play.
The quilt image to the left is a representation of the finished design. Our version, designed by Georgina Lewis, will feature a vibrant mix of Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics, including Kaffe Shot Cottons, beloved Kaffe Classics, and prints from the 2026 and 2027 collections. The result will be a dynamic blend of bold pattern, brilliant color, and that unmistakable Kaffe energy.
You’ll work with a variety of techniques, including:
• Classic straight piecing
• Efficient strip piecing
• Gentle, flowing curves
• A beginner-friendly, no-tear paper piecing method
