Join us for the NEW Beginner Friendly Workshop Series for Judy Niemeyer quilts! This foundation paper piecing (FPP) workshop features the Jungle Magnolia quilt from the Quiltworx new “Techniques of the Month” series, taught by Certified Instructor Ms. Julie Faulkner.
In this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of foundation paper piecing with Quiltworx quilts, starting with simple blocks and progressing to more complex ones. Julie will share her expert tips and fool-proof techniques for successful paper piecing. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a beautiful Judy Niemeyer quilt and the skills to master more FPP quilts!
This class is suitable for beginner quilters; some sewing experience is recommended. A Jungle Magnolia official pattern is required to take this workshop.
The workshop will be virtual (online) and recorded. The recordings will be available to watch anytime for workshop registrants. There will be live interaction with the instructor for questions.

About the Instructor
Julie has been quilting since she was about five when her grandmother taught her how to English Paper Piece. Her first quilt was made by hand using a hexagon template made by her grandfather which she drew round onto cereal packets and a slightly larger one for the fabric. It was a slow process but made with many memorable hours at her grand-parents house in England. Julie loves all needle crafts and has spent many hours doing sewing, knitting, crochet, cross stitch and needlepoint. Over the last few years Julie discovered Judy Niemeyer and fell in love with all of Quiltworx designs. Julie’s first Quiltworx quilt was the seasonal table runner and since then Julie has attended several retreats and classes with Judy and other Certified Instructors. Julie has made over 75 Quiltworx designed quilts and is now addicted to foundation paper piecing and the process Judy has developed.
