RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY
At Petting Fabric, we take pride in curating high-quality products and providing exclusive access to our sew-along experiences. Please review the following policies carefully before placing your order.
Digital Products & Memberships (Non-Refundable)
All digital content—including patterns, class access, instructional videos, and member-only content—is non-refundable once access is granted.
This includes but is not limited to:
Digital downloads or viewable files
Member-exclusive pattern libraries
Private video content
Access to private Facebook groups
Sew Along or Club participation
Membership subscriptions are billed automatically based on the plan selected at signup (monthly or yearly). Members are responsible for managing or canceling their subscription through their account prior to renewal.
Due to the nature of digital delivery, refunds cannot be issued after access is granted, regardless of usage. This policy ensures fairness to our business, as digital products cannot be returned.
Fabric & Physical Product Sales
All fabric sales are final unless an incorrect item was shipped.
Cut Fabric: Fabrics that have been cut to order are not eligible for return or exchange.
Incorrect Orders: If we make an error in your order, we will gladly correct it at no cost to you.
Customer Mistakes: If fabric was ordered in error, we may accept a return at our discretion. A 25% restocking fee will apply.
We do not accept responsibility for items once they are in the possession of USPS or UPS. We do not offer shipping insurance or file claims on behalf of customers. Customers are encouraged to select a tracked or insured shipping method when available.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be allowed in limited circumstances for unused, unopened, non-fabric items. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to inquire.
All exchange approvals are at our sole discretion and must be returned in original condition.
Cancellations
We generally do not accept order cancellations. This policy especially applies to preorder items, which are ordered based on advance customer commitments.
Preorders: All preorders are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
Order Cancellation (If Approved): If a cancellation is approved prior to shipment, a 20% restocking fee will be applied.
Block of the Month (BOM) Programs
BOM programs require a time and inventory commitment. Therefore:
BOM reservations are non-cancellable within 30 days of the start date or after the program begins.
No refunds will be issued for partially completed programs.
If you need to withdraw, we welcome you to find a replacement participant for your spot.
Refund Processing
If a return is approved, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days of the item’s return to our shop. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment only.
